Tessera Technologies (TSRA – NASDAQ) retained Michael to recruit 4 new board members including Chairman of the Board. In less than 2 years, Tessera’s stock price more than doubled reaching a $2+ billion market cap.
Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen/Vulcan, Inc. retained Michael on over twenty President/CEO, Board of Director and VP level searches while achieving multiple IPOs and M&As including CyberSource, an eCommerce payment company. CyberSource had 25 employees when Michael was first retained to build the executive management team. The CyberSource team achieved a successful IPO and was later acquired by Visa, Inc. for $2+ billion in cash.
Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Sigma Partners retained Michael to assemble an executive management team for Harmonic, Inc. HLIT (NASDAQ), a video delivery infrastructure start-up with 30 employees. Over a three-year period, Michael recruited the CFO, VP Marketing, VP Research & Development, VP Sales and VP Operations leading to a successful IPO, and over 1000 employees today.
